Connect a Dahua camera to VISEC.
Dahua cameras connect to VISEC over ONVIF. Like Hikvision, recent firmware wants ONVIF switched on explicitly and wants its own user account, set in a different menu from the admin users.
Press scan.
VISEC searches your network for ONVIF cameras and lists what it finds. If your Dahua camera already has ONVIF switched on, it appears here and you are watching live in a few seconds — nothing below is needed.
If the camera does not appear.
Menu names move around between firmware versions, so treat these as the place to look rather than an exact path.

Open the camera in a browser
Enter the camera's IP address and sign in as admin. VISEC's scan will tell you the address if you are not sure.

Enable the ONVIF service
Go to Setting › Network › Access Platform (called ONVIF on some firmware), tick Enable and save.

Create the ONVIF user
Go to Setting › System › Account › ONVIF User and add a user. Dahua keeps ONVIF accounts separate from the normal admin accounts, so this step is required even though you already have a login.

Scan from VISEC
Press scan in VISEC, pick the camera and enter the ONVIF user name and password you just created.
