Terms

Terms & license.

Pay once, keep using that version on up to three of your own PCs. No subscription, ever.

Who you are buying from

VISEC is published and sold by Philex Enterprises, Inc. Buying a license means you accept these terms.

What a license gives you

A VISEC license is a one-time purchase for a stated number of simultaneous cameras — 4 cameras, 16 cameras, or unlimited. It is a licence to use the software, not a sale of the software itself. There is no recurring fee and no subscription.

  • You may activate a license on up to 3 installations that you own or control.
  • The camera count is the number of cameras VISEC will run at the same time on an installation.
  • You may move an installation to a replacement PC. If you run out of activations, ask us and we will reset them for you.
  • You may not resell, sub-license, rent out or publish your license key.

The free license

The free license covers one camera, for life, and is the complete software — including plate recognition and QR reading. It is free for personal and business use alike. No card, no account, no trial clock.

Payment and delivery

Prices are in US dollars and shown on the pricing page. You can pay by PayPal or card through PayPal, or ask us for an invoice for bank transfer.

License keys are issued by hand and sent by email — usually within a few hours, and always within one business day of payment clearing. If your key has not arrived, tell us and we will resend it.

Refunds

Because the free one-camera license is the full program, we ask you to test VISEC on your own cameras before you buy. If a paid license still is not right for you, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund it, provided the key has not been activated on more installations than you are entitled to. If a key does not work, we will always fix or replace it at no charge.

Updates

Updates within your purchased version are included. A future major version may be a separate purchase; if so, we will say so before you buy it, and your existing license keeps working.

What the software does and does not promise

VISEC is security software, not a security guarantee. It depends on your cameras, your network, your PC and your own settings. We cannot promise it will prevent, detect or record any particular event, and our liability is limited to what you paid for the license.

You are responsible for using VISEC lawfully — including any local rules on recording people, number plates or audio, and on where cameras may point.
