The situation
Parcels go missing from the lobby, somebody dumps a mattress in the bin store, a car in the residents' car park is not a resident's. Each one is a small thing that becomes a long email thread, because nobody can say who or when.

What you need
The kit, plainly.
Cameras on the entrance, the lobby, the car park approach and the bin store, and a PC in a locked cupboard or the management office. What a licence, a landlord or an insurer requires of a camera system is set locally and changes — check what applies to you rather than taking a software website's word for it.
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, with 8 GB of memory. The installer is about 30 MB and roughly 200 MB once installed. For the AI features a graphics card with 4 GB and DirectX 12 is recommended, preferably Nvidia; without one VISEC uses the processor. Everything included

Who should be able to see the footage?
Set up separate user accounts with the access each person needs rather than one shared login — see user accounts.
Can it open the car park gate for residents?
Yes, where the camera has output terminals. Keep resident plates in the local database and set an action on a match.
Is there a monthly cost?
No. Licenses are a one-time purchase and one camera is free for life.
