The situation
A regulated site is inspected on its records, not its intentions. The questions are how long footage is kept, who can see it, whether it covers the areas required, and how quickly a specific incident can be produced.

What you need
The kit, plainly.
Cameras covering the areas your licence specifies, a PC with enough disk for the retention period you must meet, and a locked location for it. What a licence, a landlord or an insurer requires of a camera system is set locally and changes — check what applies to you rather than taking a software website's word for it. Retention length in particular is a rule you must confirm, not something to infer from a storage guide.
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, with 8 GB of memory. The installer is about 30 MB and roughly 200 MB once installed. For the AI features a graphics card with 4 GB and DirectX 12 is recommended, preferably Nvidia; without one VISEC uses the processor. Everything included

How long can it keep footage?
As long as the disk allows, and drives can be added. Four or five cameras on motion fill roughly 500 GB in three to four months — size from your required retention.
Can I restrict who sees the recordings?
Yes, with per-user accounts. Combined with local storage you control both who can view and who can alter.
Does it meet my licence conditions?
That is a question for your regulator and your licence, not for us. What we can tell you is what the software does; the requirement is yours to check.
Is anything uploaded?
No. Recordings stay on your own drives and there is no subscription.
