The situation
Overnight boarding means hours with no staff on site and owners who will ask how their animal was. The controlled drug store is a separate matter entirely: access to it needs a record, and the record needs to be one you can produce.

What you need
The kit, plainly.
Cameras on reception, the kennel area and the store, and a PC in the office. What a licence, a landlord or an insurer requires of a camera system is set locally and changes — check what applies to you rather than taking a software website's word for it.
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, with 8 GB of memory. The installer is about 30 MB and roughly 200 MB once installed. For the AI features a graphics card with 4 GB and DirectX 12 is recommended, preferably Nvidia; without one VISEC uses the processor. Everything included

Is a camera on a drug store enough for our obligations?
A camera provides a record; whether it satisfies your obligations is set by your regulator. Confirm the requirement, then build to it.
Can we check the kennels from home?
Yes. Remote viewing in a browser is part of the license, with no separate service.
Can staff be limited to the cameras they need?
Yes, with per-user accounts — see user accounts.
