The situation
Footage of children is the most sensitive material a school holds, which makes where it is stored the first question, not the last. Local recording with no cloud service and no subscription answers that before anything else gets discussed.

What you need
The kit, plainly.
Existing ONVIF cameras, or analog through a video server, and a Windows PC with disk space. Up to eight monitors can show different areas at once where somebody watches them.
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, with 8 GB of memory. The installer is about 30 MB and roughly 200 MB once installed. For the AI features a graphics card with 4 GB and DirectX 12 is recommended, preferably Nvidia; without one VISEC uses the processor. Everything included

Where is the footage stored?
On the PC you install it on, on your own drive. There is no cloud component and no subscription.
Can different staff see different cameras?
The program can display cameras across up to eight monitors, so areas can be separated physically where that suits how the site is staffed.
Will it work with the cameras we already have?
Very likely — 99% of ONVIF IP cameras, plus analog through a video server and ordinary USB cameras.
