For RV parks, caravan parks and campgrounds

One gate, and a very large site behind it.

A park is mostly a single entrance and then a lot of ground nobody can see from the office, which makes the gate the piece of recording that earns its place.

The situation

Somebody drives in at midnight and nobody knows whether they are a guest. A unit is broken into while the owners are away for the weekend. The shower block gets damaged and the only evidence is the damage itself.

What VISEC does about it.

  • Every vehicle at the gatePlate and time logged on the way in and on the way out, so the site has a record of who was on it.
  • The facilities blockThe shower block, the laundry and the bin area - where most reported damage happens.
  • The office and the shopOrdinary motion recording where takings are handled.
  • Open the barrier for a guestA recognised plate or a QR code can release a barrier where the camera has output terminals, through ONVIF or Axis camera I/O.
What you need

The kit, plainly.

A plate camera at the gate, aimed flat at the plate with infrared beside the lens, plus cameras on the facilities block and the office. A PC in the office with a large drive, since a park is a long-season site and recordings are worth keeping.

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, with 8 GB of memory. The installer is about 30 MB and roughly 200 MB once installed. For the AI features a graphics card with 4 GB and DirectX 12 is recommended, preferably Nvidia; without one VISEC uses the processor. Everything included

Questions

Before you set it up.

Can arriving guests open the barrier themselves?

A QR code on a booking can be read by a camera and release a barrier, where the camera has the output terminals for it.

Will it work over a long cable run?

Cameras connect over the network, so distance is a cabling question. A wired link to the gate camera is worth having.

Is there a subscription?

No. One camera is free for life, and more cameras are a one-time purchase.
