Most of the stock is outside, in the dark.
A garden centre or a merchant yard has a retail problem that most shops do not: a large share of the stock sits outdoors, unattended, overnight.
Trees, slabs, machinery and furniture disappear from an outdoor area that has no walls. A vehicle loads up at the yard and leaves without going past a till. The site closes at five and nothing watches it until eight the next morning.
What VISEC does about it.
- The outdoor sales areaWide views over the yard and the plant area, with motion alerts once the site is closed.
- Plates at the entranceVehicles logged in and out by plate and time, which is the one identifier a loaded vehicle cannot leave behind.
- The yard loading pointWhere heavy stock is collected, so a collection has a record.
- The tills and the doorOrdinary motion recording indoors.
The kit, plainly.
Wide cameras over the outdoor areas, a plate camera on the entrance, and cameras on the tills. Outdoor runs want weatherproof cameras and a wired network link, plus a PC inside with a large drive.
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, with 8 GB of memory. The installer is about 30 MB and roughly 200 MB once installed. For the AI features a graphics card with 4 GB and DirectX 12 is recommended, preferably Nvidia; without one VISEC uses the processor. Everything included
Before you set it up.
Will motion alerts fire every time a branch moves?
That is the usual complaint with outdoor cameras. Motion areas can be shaped to the part of the view that matters, which is what keeps overnight alerts useful.
How much storage will a large site need?
Four or five cameras on a 500 GB drive hold roughly three to four months. VISEC can write across several drives as they fill.
Is plate recognition extra?
No. It is in every license, including the free one camera license.
Set up somewhere else?

Gated communities and hoas

Try it on one camera first.
The free license is the complete program, including plate recognition, QR reading and access control. It does not expire.
