The situation
A small shop does not need an enterprise system and cannot justify a per-camera monthly fee. What it needs is footage that is easy to find, an alert when the shop is closed and somebody is inside, and a way to settle a dispute at the till.

What you need
The kit, plainly.
Any ONVIF cameras, or analog cameras through a video server, plus a Windows PC. If the PC is on the shop floor, Secret mode hides the program from the screen with one keypress while it keeps recording.
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, with 8 GB of memory. The installer is about 30 MB and roughly 200 MB once installed. For the AI features a graphics card with 4 GB and DirectX 12 is recommended, preferably Nvidia; without one VISEC uses the processor. Everything included
Questions
Before you set it up.
Can staff see that it is running?
Only if you want them to. Secret mode removes the program from the screen entirely with a hotkey, and the same key brings it back. Recording continues either way.
Can I watch the shop from home?
Yes. Remote viewing in a browser or the VISEC client is included in the license.
Is one camera really free?
Yes, for life, and it is the complete program rather than a trial. More cameras are a one-time purchase.
