For pharmacies and dispensaries
The counter, the dispensary and the stock room.
A pharmacy is a small retail space with a high-value, highly regulated store room in the back, and the recording usually matters most for the room nobody else goes into.

The situation
A discrepancy turns up in a stock count. Someone is abusive at the counter. A delivery arrives when the dispenser is on their own. Each one is answered by footage that is still there weeks later and can be found by time.
What VISEC does about it.
- The counterMotion recording where the public meet staff, which protects both sides of a dispute.
- The dispensaryA view of the bench and the route in and out of it.
- The controlled stock roomA camera on the door with an out-of-hours alert, so an entry at the wrong time emails a snapshot.
- Access on the stock room doorWhere the camera has output terminals, a QR code or a recognised plate can release a door through ONVIF or Axis camera I/O.
What you need
The kit, plainly.
Cameras on the counter, the dispensary and the stock room door, and a PC somewhere locked. What a regulator or an insurer requires of a pharmacy is set locally and changes - check what applies to you rather than relying on a software website.
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, with 8 GB of memory. The installer is about 30 MB and roughly 200 MB once installed. For the AI features a graphics card with 4 GB and DirectX 12 is recommended, preferably Nvidia; without one VISEC uses the processor. Everything included
Questions
Before you set it up.
Where is the footage kept?
On drives in your own building. Nothing is uploaded to a service, which is usually the point for a site like this.
Can different staff have different access?
Yes. Separate user accounts can be given only the cameras and the rights each person needs.
How long will recordings last?
Four or five cameras on a 500 GB drive hold roughly three to four months, and recording can span several drives.
