Will my Hikvision cameras work in VISEC?
Yes, over ONVIF. On current firmware ONVIF must be switched on and needs its own user: follow the Hikvision setup guide.
Do I still need my Hikvision NVR?
No. VISEC records to the PC. If your cameras are plugged into the NVR's PoE ports, connect them to your network so the PC can reach them.
Is VISEC free?
