What do I change on the camera?
Enable ONVIF and add an ONVIF user, which Hikvision keeps separate from the admin login. There is a step-by-step page for it under the camera setup guides.
Can I still use the app as well?
Usually yes. Cameras serve a limited number of simultaneous streams, so watch for drop-outs when several clients connect at once.
Does this work with an NVR?
If the recorder publishes RTSP, its channels can often be added by stream address.
