What has to be enabled on the camera?
The ONVIF service and a separate ONVIF user, which Dahua keeps apart from the admin accounts. The Dahua camera setup page walks through it.
Will it work with a Dahua NVR?
Often, if the recorder publishes RTSP channels. Otherwise connect the cameras directly.
Is plate recognition extra?
No. It is included in every license, including the free one camera license.
