The situation
A committee gets asked the same question after every incident: who was in the community that afternoon? Guard logs are patchy, clipboards go missing, and footage nobody can search is footage nobody watches. A plate and a timestamp answer it in seconds.

What you need
The kit, plainly.
A camera facing the entrance lane and, ideally, a second on the exit. Recordings stay on the community's own PC rather than a cloud service — which matters when the footage concerns residents.
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, with 8 GB of memory. The installer is about 30 MB and roughly 200 MB once installed. For the AI features a graphics card with 4 GB and DirectX 12 is recommended, preferably Nvidia; without one VISEC uses the processor. Everything included

Before you set it up.
Can it open the gate for residents?
Yes, where the camera has output terminals. VISEC drives ONVIF and Axis camera inputs and outputs, so a recognised plate or a scanned QR code can release the gate.
Where are the recordings kept?
On the PC you install it on. Nothing is uploaded to a cloud service and there is no subscription.
Do we need one PC per camera?
No. One PC runs the cameras together, and a paid license covers more cameras on up to 3 PCs.
What if a plate is not recognised?
The vehicle is still recorded on video like any other motion event. Recognition adds a searchable plate; it does not replace the recording.
