Current Vivotek cameras have ONVIF built in and ready, with no switch to turn on. Add the camera with its normal user name and password.

VISEC searches your network for ONVIF cameras and lists what it finds. If your Vivotek camera already has ONVIF switched on, it appears here and you are watching live in a few seconds — nothing below is needed.
If the camera does not appear.
Menu names move around between firmware versions, so treat these as the place to look rather than an exact path.

Check the model
Vivotek's 8000 and 9000 series support ONVIF. Older 7000-series models do not.

Set a strong password
Vivotek cameras use the normal camera account for ONVIF, so give it a strong password in the web interface first.

Press scan, pick the camera and sign in with the camera's user name and password.
