Connect a Milesight camera to VISEC.
Milesight IP cameras are ONVIF conformant and are usually found by a scan straight away. Many models include alarm input and output terminals, so they suit gate and barrier work.

Menu names move around between firmware versions, so treat these as the place to look rather than an exact path.

Activate the camera
A new Milesight camera must be activated with a password before it will accept connections.

Confirm ONVIF is enabled
Look in the network or system settings for the ONVIF service and check it is switched on.

Check the user's rights
Milesight separates account levels; the account VISEC uses needs permission to view the stream.

Press scan, pick the camera and enter its user name and password.
